A Study on the Job Satisfaction of Nurses

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was to have on attempt to job satisfaction of the nurses in Taejeon area.
The questionaires were given to 170 nurses working at hospital in Taejeon from 2 to June, 1984.
The results of the study areas follows:
1. The relationships between job satisfaction and general characteristics.
1) Age showed no statistical significance (P > 0.05).
2) The level of education, the aptitude to the job, the kind of hospital (i.e., public or private), the turnover intention were proved to be significantly related to job satisfaction (P < 0.05).
2. The relationship between job satisfaction factor-promotion with type of supervision was the most significant (r--O 6562, p=0.0000).
